The same is true for The Lighthouse. We guide the vulnerable out of life’s storms, provide physical needs (food and shelter), gives spiritual hope (based on Christian beliefs) and points the way to wellness (connecting and anchoring our clients into the community with permanent, safe housing).

As the unified voice of family enterprises in Canada, Family Enterprise Foundation (FEF) is a charitable organization focused on educational resources, research, and sustainability of these family enterprises. FEF is closely associated with Family Enterprise Xchange, Family Business Network Canada, and the Family Enterprise Advisor designation program. HAMSMaRT is a grassroots health organization made up of physicians, midwives, and peer workers. We strive to provide excellence in clinical care to individuals who have difficulty accessing the traditional medical system, and primarily serve people deprived of housing and people who use drugs.

Food4Kids provides packages of healthy food for kids aged 4-14 years with limited or no access to food each weekend.
The food packages are assembled by volunteers and delivered to schools each Friday to ensure children have nourishment over the weekend. There are more than 800 children in Halton struggling through each weekend without food.

With decades of experience and being one of the first refugee housing facilities in Toronto they take pride in being a leading organization in refugee care.
Shalem Mental Health - Re-Create
RE-create is a drop-in art studio for youth artists in Hamilton’s core, offering free arts programming to youth who might not otherwise have access to such opportunities.
The Brock Millman Memorial Student Award. It will be presented annually to an undergraduate student for outstanding achievement in a History or International Relations program, with preference given to students who have served (or are serving) in the Canadian military.
